Angeles City Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin Jr. on July 3, 2024 signed a Memorandum of Agreement with Philippine Statistics Authority, represented by Arlene Divino, for the institutionalizing of a Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) in the city.
CBMS is an economic and social tool towards the formulation and implementation of poverty alleviation and development programs.
The PSA will collect data every three years in the city.
Also present during the MOA signing are Provincial Statistical Office — Pampanga Chief Statistical Specialist Maria Virginia Olveña, and City Planning and Development Officer Engr. Nilda Quito.
