The rich flavors of Filipino cuisine took center stage as the Filipino Food Month celebration officially opened on April 24, at Museo ning Angeles and Plaza Angel in Angeles City. The festive launch of the Kulitan Flea Market and Food Bazaar gathered food advocates, local artisans, and tourism stakeholders for a ceremonial ribbon-cutting led by the Department of Tourism – Region III.

A major highlight was the live cooking demo by popular content creator, ‘Lumpia Queen’ Abi Marquez, who wowed the crowd with a creative lumpia twist on the classic Kapampangan dish ‘asadung matwa.’ Food enthusiasts and local creators also got exclusive behind-the-scenes tips on crafting viral food content.

A crowd favorite was the taste test session , featuring freshly cooked lumpia and the legendary Aling Lucing’s sisig , much to the delight of guests and content creators alike.

The celebration continues! Don’t miss the second day of kulitan on April 25, from 4PM to 9PM , at Museo ning Angeles . Come out to shop, dine, and support local food vendors, artists, and creators as we honor Buwan ng Kalutong Pilipino in the heart of Pampanga! 🍽️🇵🇭
