Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. delighted over 400 student-athletes representing the city at the Central Luzon Regional Athletic Association (CLRAA) meet at Maliwalo National High School in Tarlac City with a heartfelt treat—free hotdogs and ice cream.

The surprise snack was part of Mayor Lazatin’s personal tradition of showing support for young athletes—a gesture he has consistently made in previous years.

“Simpleng regalo para sa ating mga atletang buong pusong bitbit ang pangalan ng siyudad upang magbigay ng karangalan,” the mayor said, recognizing the dedication and pride the students bring to Angeles City.
