Mexico LGU receives PRIME-HRM Accreditation

The Municipal Government of Mexico has achieved another major milestone after being awarded the PRIME-HRM Accreditation by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) during a ceremony held on Friday, November 21, at the SMX Convention Center Clark.

Mayor Rodencio “Ruding” S. Gonzales, together with Municipal HRMO Christopher A. Torres, formally received the plaque on behalf of the local government unit.

The accreditation recognizes Mexico’s strengthened systems in Recruitment, Selection, Placement, and Performance Management, affirming its compliance with CSC standards under the Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM). This distinction highlights the LGU’s commitment to transparent, organized, and accountable governance.

Under Mayor Ruding’s leadership, Mexico has steadily improved its internal processes and professionalized public service operations. His administration has emphasized efficiency, integrity, and service excellence—key factors that contributed to the municipality’s successful assessment.

The PRIME-HRM award adds to the growing list of accomplishments under Mayor Ruding’s tenure, reflecting a governance approach focused on long-term institutional reforms and strengthening workforce capacity.
