SM Malls in Pampanga, including SM City Clark, SM City Pampanga, SM City Telabastagan, and SM City San Fernando Downtown, actively participated in the Q3 earthquake drill. The drill, held during regular mall hours, involved shoppers, students and faculty, tenants, and employees. 

Evacuation and rescue simulations were conducted to enhance the Emergency Response Team’s preparedness and coordination. The Medical and Search & Rescue Teams collaborated to provide first aid treatment to a mock trauma victim.

At precisely 2pm, the drill showcased various crisis scenarios of a simulated moderate magnitude earthquake, aiming to raise public awareness about proper emergency responses. Following the simulated earthquake, employees and tenants were safely evacuated to designated open spaces.

In addition to the nationwide earthquake drill, the malls also prioritize safety by conducting an annual refresher course for their employees, tenants, and affiliates.
