A total of 100 Mabalaqueñians received ₱6,000 each under the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) Program, providing temporary employment while supporting community cleanliness efforts.

The beneficiaries rendered 10 days of work, including cleaning the city’s Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) and various creeks. The initiative provided temporary income while helping maintain cleaner surroundings and clearer waterways.

Mabalacat City Mayor Atty. Geld Aquino led the payout, joined by Vice Mayor Jun Castro and Councilors Marjorie Sambo, Patricia Acorda, Ike Morales and Errol Soliven.

The program was implemented in coordination with the Mabalacat City Public Employment Service Office (PESO) headed by Jacqueline Bungay.

Aquino said the city government will continue coordinating with concerned agencies to bring more employment and livelihood opportunities to Mabalaqueñians and help provide additional income for their families.
