“The new barangay hall will serve as a central hub for local governance, enabling officials to fulfill administrative responsibilities, engage with constituents, and facilitate community meetings, while the covered court will provide a spacious venue for sports, recreation, and social gatherings, fostering unity and camaraderie among residents,” Trinidad explained.

He also emphasized the significance of investing in quality infrastructure that addresses the community’s needs, reflecting the government’s commitment to progress and fostering spaces where residents can gather, thrive, and come together.

“The groundbreaking rite signifies the start of an exciting journey towards a vibrant and inclusive barangay, with the DPWH and local government committed to efficiently completing the project and integrating it into the community’s social, cultural, and developmental fabric,” Trinidad furthered.

Meanwhile, local officials extended their gratitude to the DPWH for prioritizing the development of their barangay and acknowledged the positive impact the new facilities would have on enhancing the overall well-being and quality of life for residents.

The P10.73 million projects, which are part of the DPWH’s Basic Infrastructure Program and funded under the General Appropriations Act of 2023, are expected to be completed before the end of the year. (PIA 3)
