Pampanga First District Representative Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. made public his Statement of Assets, Liabilities, and Net Worth (SALN) on September 26, 2025, in support of House Speaker Faustino “Bojie” Dy III’s call for lawmakers and officials to release their SALNs.

Lazatin emphasized that the move is a response to growing public demand for transparency amid allegations of corruption and collusion involving legislators, contractors, and the Department of Public Works and Highways.
“Public office is a public trust. The disclosure of SALN is a step toward rebuilding public confidence in our institutions,” Lazatin said.
Earlier this month, Lazatin also submitted a declaration stating that he has no business or financial interests that could compromise his role in ongoing congressional inquiries.

The law requires all government officials and employees to submit their SALN annually as an official record of assets, liabilities, net worth, and financial connections.
“As a first-term Congressman, I am committed to infrastructure projects in Pampanga’s First District that prioritize education and health—initiatives with long-term benefits for our people,” Lazatin added.
