Department of Transportation (DOTr) Assistant Secretary for Right of Way and Site Acquisition (ROWSA) IC Calaguas met with First District Representative De Carlo “Oyo” Lim Uy to discuss the right-of-way concerns for the Mindanao Railway Project.
The government has allocated ₱1.7 billion for ROWSA covering the Tagum-to-Digos alignment of the project.
DOTr Secretary Giovanni Lopez earlier confirmed that right-of-way acquisition is already underway, signaling steady progress for the much-anticipated railway system.
