Mayor Ruding Santos Gonzales led a random inspection of warehouses in Barangay Panipuan and Barangay Lagundi on Monday following the recent discovery of an illegal cigarette production facility in Barangay Panipuan last week.

The inspection team included members of the Sangguniang Bayan, department heads, personnel from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), and Acting Chief of Police P/Lt. Col. Julius A. Javier.

The activity aimed to ensure that warehouse facilities possess complete business permits and are operating without any irregularities or illegal activities. Mayor Gonzales reiterated that the local government will not tolerate illegal operations in Mexico and urged investors to strictly follow proper procedures and comply with existing laws and regulations.

He added that similar inspections will continue in the coming days as part of the municipality’s efforts to remain business-friendly while strictly enforcing laws to maintain order and integrity in the town.
