Around 30 street food vendors from across the province participated in a two-day “Street Food Tourism Kulinarya Workshop,” aimed at enhancing their skills and strengthening their businesses.

The activity was organized through the joint efforts of the Department of Tourism Region III and the Arts, Culture and Tourism Office of Pampanga, as part of the celebration of Filipino Food Month and the Manyaman Festival this April.

Topics discussed include:
- Food Safety and Handling
- Food Budgeting and Costing
- Cooking demonstrations featuring popular street food and local delicacies such as kwek-kwek, pancit, beef taco empanada, bibingka, and palamig
As part of the program, participants also received support from ACTOP, including:
- ₱2,000 cash subsidy
- Certificates of participation
- Basic cooking kits
Organizers said the initiative forms part of ongoing efforts to promote street food tourism while empowering local entrepreneurs in Pampanga.
