Authorities arrested three alleged High-Value Individuals in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Pamatawan, Subic on Friday afternoon, May 8, 2026, seizing over ₱1.3 million worth of suspected shabu.

The operation, conducted around 3:40 PM, was led by the Zambales Police Drug Enforcement Unit in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Zambales and the Subic Municipal Police Station under a Target Intelligence Packet.

Arrested were a 50-year-old fisherman from Barangay Pamatawan, and two market vendors aged 31 and 53 from Barangay San Isidro, San Marcelino, all identified as HVIs involved in illegal drug activities.

Authorities confiscated approximately 192.1 grams of suspected shabu valued at ₱1,306,280.

The suspects face charges for violation of Sections 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, and are now under police custody for proper disposition.
