Pampanga First District Congressman Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. visited the site of the ongoing search and rescue operations at the collapsed building in Barangay Balibago, Angeles City, this morning.
The lawmaker expressed his condolences to the families of those who perished in the tragic incident and assured them of continued support from his office.
Cong Pogi also said that his office is currently preparing financial assistance for the families of all victims affected by the disaster.
He likewise extended his gratitude to the responding agencies, including the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Philippine National Police (PNP), Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), Department of Transportation (DOTr), Angeles City local government under Mayor Jon Lazatin, and other LGUs for their coordinated efforts in the ongoing search and rescue operations.
