The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Bataan, in partnership with Waltermart Balanga City, formally opened the Likha ng Bataeño Independence Day Trade Fair on June 15 in celebration of Philippine Independence Day.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was led by DTI Bataan Provincial Director Eileen Ocampo and Waltermart Balanga City Mall Manager Alfredo Quiambao.

The trade fair highlights the contribution of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to local economic growth by providing Bataeño entrepreneurs a venue to showcase and market their products, expand their customer base, and promote locally made goods.
