Globe inspires Cabanatuan youth through Star Wars experience

CABANATUAN CITY — Globe brought the excitement of the Star Wars universe to students in Cabanatuan through an exclusive screening of Star Wars: The Mandalorian & Grogu, aimed at inspiring the next generation of changemakers.

Held at SM Cabanatuan, the event gathered senior high school and college students for a unique experience that combined entertainment with lessons on courage, resilience, purpose, and community building.

The screening also introduced participants to the Globe Student Program, which offers opportunities such as internships, scholarships, volunteer activities, AI hackathons, and content creation initiatives designed to help young people develop their skills and make a positive impact.

“We wanted to make the Mandalorian screening in Cabanatuan a celebration of what the youth love—stories, shared interests, and experiences that bring them together,” said Raymond Mancilla, Globe Area Business Head.

The event was part of Globe’s collaboration with Disney, with similar student-focused activities also held in Quezon City, Cagayan de Oro, and Davao. Through these initiatives, Globe continues to support learning, leadership, and digital inclusion while empowering Filipino students to pursue their aspirations and strengthen their communities.
