Angeles City Mayor Carmelo βJonβ Lazatin II personally inspected Miranda Street, Purok 2, Barangay Sto. Rosario on August 19 to assess conditions and check on residents, particularly those living near the river.
Mayor Jon was accompanied by representatives from the City Engineerβs Office, Angeles City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, Environmental Management System, and Angeles City Traffic Development Office for on-site monitoring and assessment.
The city offices checked waterways, nearby communities, access routes and other areas of concern that may affect residentsβ safety.
Mayor Jon stressed the importance of continuous monitoring and prompt response, while residents near rivers, creeks and waterways were urged to remain alert and follow official advisories from barangay and city authorities.
