₱100K Reward for swift arrests

First District Representative Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. awarded a ₱100,000 cash incentive from his personal funds to operatives of the Angeles City Police Office (ACPO) for the successful arrest of five robbery suspects in Angeles City.

The arrests were carried out by ACPO operatives under the leadership of City Director PCOL. Robert Domingo over a three-day period from August 25 to 27, 2026.

Cong. Pogi commended the police personnel for their swift action and dedication in apprehending the suspects, who were reportedly linked to multiple victims in the city.

“Binabati ko ang ating mga kawani sa ACPO sa kanilang matagumpay na pag-aresto sa limang mandurukot sa Angeles City,” he said.

Cong. Pogi furthered that the arrests demonstrate the police force’s commitment to maintaining peace and order and protecting residents from criminal activities.

Last month, Cong. Pogi also personally offered an additional ₱100,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of William Meria Corre, a suspect in a series of robbery and sexual harassment incidents in the province. Corre was arrested on July 9 following a manhunt conducted by the Philippine National Police Police Regional Office 3 (PNP PRO3).

He emphasized the importance of ensuring the safety of residents in the First District of Pampanga, noting that his office remains supportive of the local police in maintaining peace and order.
