A total of ₱46.5 million in financial grants under the Enhanced KADIWA Financial Grant Assistance Program has been awarded to 20 local government units (LGUs) and 27 farmers’ cooperatives and associations (FCAs) across Nueva Ecija.

The Department of Agriculture (DA) Central Luzon formally turned over the grants during a ceremony at the Provincial Auditorium, Old Capitol Building, Burgos Avenue, Cabanatuan City, on Thursday, October 15.

The Enhanced KADIWA program provides financial assistance to qualified agricultural and fisheries organizations to strengthen their capacity to supply, process, store, and market agricultural products.

The initiative aims to improve market access, strengthen agricultural supply chains, and create more economic opportunities for farmers and fisherfolk.

Through the grants, the DA seeks to boost agricultural productivity, empower farming communities, and support a more efficient and sustainable food distribution system in Nueva Ecija.
