The Angeles City local government, through its Public Transportation and Regulatory Office (PTRO), continues to strengthen measures to ensure order, safety, and discipline in the public transport sector, including Public Utility Vehicle (PUV) operations.
As part of ongoing road clearing operations, the PTRO is closely monitoring areas with illegal or unauthorized pick-up points, including sections of MacArthur Highway in Barangay Sto. Domingo, in line with existing national laws and Ordinance No. 756. The initiative aims to maintain smooth traffic flow and ensure safe travel for motorists and commuters.

City officials said the efforts are part of a broader program to ensure that PUV, TODA routes, and terminals are properly regulated and aligned with local transport guidelines, promoting a more organized and safer transport system in the city.
The local government is urging PUV drivers, operators, members, and commuters to cooperate with PTRO policies to avoid inconvenience and help maintain order on city roads.
Concerns related to PUV, PUJ, TODA operations, routes, and terminals may be directed to the PTRO through its official Facebook page.
Authorities emphasized that continued discipline and cooperation are key to improving the transport system for all residents of Angeles City.
