ASEAN delegates visit Anak Bale Balayan Museum

Delegates of the ASEAN Philippines 2026 Cultural and Heritage Tour visited Anak Bale-Balayan Museum for the Poor in Angeles City, highlighting the role of culture, art, and education in fostering community development and youth empowerment.

The community-based cultural center serves as a venue where young people are given opportunities to develop their talents, expand their knowledge, and strengthen their identity as Filipinos and Kapampangans.

During the visit, delegates from Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, and Singapore learned how the museum uses culture and the arts as tools for positive change and social inclusion.

More than a museum, Anak Bale-Balayan stands as a symbol of how culture can be used to uplift communities and transform lives.
