Nearly 2,000 pastors, instructors, students, alumni, volunteers, and guests gathered across 27 locations nationwide as Zion Christian Mission Center (ZCMC) celebrated its 36th Founding Anniversary in conjunction with the country’s Independence Day observance.
Major gatherings were held in Pasig City, Cavite, Pampanga, Cebu, and Davao under the theme, “One Faith, One Light, We Rise and Shine.”

The celebration highlighted the role of faith, biblical education, and evangelism in helping individuals discover truth, purpose, and hope through God’s Word. Organizers said the event also served as a thanksgiving for 36 years of providing free and accessible Bible education.
ZCMC Philippines President Abigail Saguid said the observance drew a parallel between national independence and the biblical understanding of freedom, emphasizing that lasting freedom comes from knowing God’s truth and living according to His purpose.
Participants shared how Bible study has strengthened their faith and deepened their understanding of Scripture, while organizers renewed their commitment to expanding access to biblical education through onsite, online, and self-paced learning programs.
Founded in 1990, ZCMC has grown into an international theological institution offering free Bible education and reaching learners from diverse backgrounds through various learning platforms.
