Congressman Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. inspects the Abacan River to check its water level and the structural integrity of the dike following weeks of heavy rainfall.
Lazatin is joined by DPWH Engineer Sheryl Faustino, Chief Adviser and DOTr Assistant Secretary IC Calaguas, Chief Political Affairs Officer Reina Manuel, and Senior Staff Jane Calimquim and Michael Lising during the inspection.
The activity aims to assess the current condition of the river and dike and help ensure the safety of nearby communities amid continued rains.
