Converge ICT Solutions Inc. co-founder and CEO Dennis Anthony Uy celebrated his 60th birthday by sharing blessings with jeepney drivers, employees, family members, and close friends, highlighting the occasion with an outreach activity for transport workers in Angeles City.

Uy said the celebration was especially meaningful as it gave him the opportunity to give back to jeepney drivers, whom he described as among the community’s hardworking frontliners.
“Happy to celebrate my 60th birthday with our jeepney drivers, employees, my family, and closest friends,” Uy said. “It was truly meaningful to share some of our blessings to our jeepney drivers here in Angeles City.”
Recalling his own experiences as a student who regularly rode public utility jeepneys, Uy expressed gratitude for the service and sacrifices of transport workers.
“Damdam ku pu at mabayat king lub ku ing panyulung da balang aldo,” he said, noting that he understands the challenges faced by drivers, particularly amid increasing fuel costs. He added that he hoped the assistance provided would offer “ditak a pang-isnawa” or a small measure of relief to the city’s hardworking transport frontliners.
Uy also thanked Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II, City Information Officer Jay Pelayo IV, and members of the City Council for helping facilitate the activity and for their efforts in identifying priority sectors that need support.
“Thank you for always understanding the needs of our fellow Angelenos, identifying our priority sectors, and helping me reconnect with our jeepney drivers,” he said.
The celebration also included a thanksgiving Mass and breakfast gathering at Museo Ning Angeles attended by family members and close friends. Uy said the milestone became even more memorable because of the people who have supported him throughout his life and career.
“This unforgettable milestone was made even more special by the people who have stood by me throughout my journey,” he said.
Uy also expressed gratitude to Clark Development Corporation Chairman Ed Pamintuan and his wife, Miniang Pamintuan, for their support and assistance in organizing the hometown celebration.
He likewise thanked the entire Converge workforce for their dedication and for making his birthday celebration “so vibrant and full of life,” underscoring the importance of community, gratitude, and service as he marked the milestone.
