Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II personally met with the families of the missing individuals involved in the ongoing search and rescue operations at the collapsed under-construction building in Balibago, Angeles City.

Amid the continuing operations, Mayor Jon took time to speak with and extend his sympathies to the affected families while the local government maintained close coordination with various rescue and response agencies.

As part of the coordination efforts, families submitted photos and information of the missing individuals to the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) to assist in the validation process and strengthen coordination with concerned agencies as rescue efforts continue.

The CSWDO also continues to provide assistance, including psychosocial support, food, transportation assistance, financial aid, and other necessary services for the affected families.

Mayor Jon Lazatin assures the public that the Angeles City Government remains committed to providing continuous support and maintaining strong coordination with rescue teams and national agencies to sustain the ongoing operations.
