Mayor Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II welcomed and administered the oath of office to the newly elected officers of the LGBTQIA+ Federation of Angeles City.

During the ceremony, Mayor Jon urged the new leaders to carry out their duties with dedication, compassion, and a strong commitment to public service. He emphasized that true leadership involves being part of the solution and creating positive change within the community.

The mayor also expressed his full support for the federation’s initiatives aimed at strengthening sectoral participation and promoting inclusive development in the city. He encouraged the officers to serve as role models of integrity, accountability, and meaningful leadership for the Angeleño community.

The city government, he added, remains committed to supporting programs that uphold unity, respect, and progress for all.
