CENTRAL LUZON — Close to 2,000 residents across the region received essential government services during the simultaneous Serbisyo Fair led by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), in celebration of World Environment Day.

Organized through DENR’s provincial and community offices, the fair provided on-the-spot assistance to beneficiaries — including the distribution of residential, agricultural, and special patents, as well as support for frontline service needs. These included land title processing and verification, wildlife registration and transport permits, tree-cutting and forest product transport permits, chainsaw registration, water permit applications, and legal consultations.

DENR Central Luzon Executive Director Ralph Pablo emphasized the fair’s role in promoting inclusivity and improving community access to government services.

The event also featured the Community PLANTree program, where over 26,000 seedlings of fruit-bearing and timber species — such as rambutan, guyabano, kasoy, langka, duhat, cacao, calamansi, coffee, bignay, banaba, molave, and narra — were distributed to residents to encourage reforestation and environmental care.

The DENR Serbisyo Fair is a continuing initiative designed to bring the agency’s programs directly to the people, while fostering environmental stewardship and civic engagement.
