Although the week has just begun, Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda and Vice Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda have already extended various forms of financial assistance to Kabalen who visited the Provincial Capitol on Monday, February 17.
Seven elderly citizens, aged 95 years and above, received a one-time cash incentive of P100,000 each, through the support of the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) and in accordance with Ordinance No. 683.
In addition, 27 individuals were granted financial assistance, while 55 beneficiaries received burial assistance across the province, all made possible through the Governor’s Medical Assistance program.
The distribution of aid was led by Vice Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda, with the presence of Board Members Cherry Maanalo, Pol Balingit, Nelson Calara, and Atty. Jun Canlas.
The total value of the assistance provided to the 89 beneficiaries amounted to nearly two million pesos (P2,000,000).
