The remains of the second passenger of the SUV that plunged into the Tarlac River following the collapse of a portion of Agana Bridge on August 29 were recovered in Barangay San Vicente, Bayambang, Pangasinan, at around 4 p.m. on September 1.
The female victim was identified as Shanen Tuhao, a resident of Cavite. Barangay residents reportedly found her floating in the river before her family positively identified her.
Tarlac City Mayor Susan Yap expressed her condolences to Tuhao’s family while continuing to hope that the two other missing passengers, Sheila Mae Taborlupa and Paul Harvey Collado, may still be found alive.
On August 31, the remains of James Partick Taborlupa, another passenger of the SUV, were recovered in Lingayen, Pangasinan.
Search and retrieval operations for the remaining missing passengers continue.
