The BCDA Group has signed new lease agreements with over 40 sub-lessees of CJH Development Corporation (CJHDevCo) in Camp John Hay, Baguio City.
The deals cover Forest Estates, Country Homes, Golf Estates, and Forest Cabins, ensuring a smooth transition following the Supreme Court’s final ruling allowing BCDA to recover the property.
BCDA President and CEO Joshua Bingcang said discussions are ongoing with other stakeholders to finalize additional lease terms. He assured lessees that BCDA is committed to facilitating the transition while working to enhance Camp John Hay’s facilities, protect its environment, and create economic opportunities for the local community.
BCDA is also set to review the estate’s 25-year comprehensive master plan, aiming to align it with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
The agency envisions transforming Camp John Hay into a premier development, similar to Bonifacio Global City and New Clark City, through key infrastructure projects and high-impact investments.
