Clergy and leaders of the Blessed Trinity Vicariate, which covers the towns of Apalit, Macabebe, and Masantol, released a pastoral statement expressing solidarity with communities affected by severe flooding.
In the statement, Church leaders described the floods as “signs of a wounded creation and a neglected responsibility,” calling on parishes, communities, and the faithful to actively respond to the crisis.
They urged collective action in caring for people and the environment, emphasizing that “faith without action is empty” amid the worsening situation.
