The Department of Trade and Industry Region 3 (DTI-3) has rolled out its Diskwento Caravan across various provinces in Central Luzon, offering discounted school supplies to help families prepare for the upcoming school year.
The Diskwento Caravan is a DTI flagship initiative aimed at providing basic goods and prime commodities at reduced prices, especially during peak seasons and times of crisis. In partnership with manufacturers, distributors, and local government units, the program has expanded to include essential school items such as notebooks, pens, bags, and uniforms.
DTI-Zambales will hold its caravan on May 22 at the People’s Plaza in Botolan, while Meycauayan City Hall in Bulacan will host the event from May 22 to 23. A special in-store caravan is also set for June 12 and 13 in Baler and Maria Aurora, Aurora Province.
“Through the Diskwento Caravan, we bring relief directly to our communities by making quality school supplies more affordable and accessible,” said DTI-3 Regional Director Edna D. Dizon.
The agency encourages the public to take advantage of the discounted goods as part of its ongoing consumer welfare programs. For updates, DTI advises following regional social media pages or contacting the nearest DTI Provincial Office or Negosyo Center.
