GOV. DELTA CLARIFIES RESULTS OF ERIKA’S AUTOPSY, CALLS FOR SUPPORT FOR GRIEVING FAMILY

Governor Dennis Pineda has issued a statement regarding the ongoing investigation into the death of teen Kapampangan Vonn Erika Raymundo to address circulating speculations and clarify the findings of the autopsy.

In a post on his Governor Delta FB page, Pineda confirmed that the autopsy, performed by the forensic unit of the Police Regional Office 3 at Camp Olivas, showed “no signs of external injuries or rape.” He added that a toxicology test is currently underway, which will take approximately half a day to complete.

Gov. Delta also took the opportunity to offer advice to parents, emphasizing the importance of maintaining open communication with their children.

He further highlighted the provincial government’s mental health program, which is available to assist both parents and teachers in addressing the emotional well-being of children.

Pineda also urged politicians to refrain from using Erika’s tragic situation for political gain.

Lastly, Governor Pineda asked the public to offer prayers for Erika’s soul and for the comfort of her grieving family and friends.
