Mayor Geld Aquino is leading efforts to boost skills development and employment opportunities for local residents through the flagship program “TESDA Training to Trabaho.”
On Tuesday, October 7, Mayor Aquino visited the TESDA Center in Sapang Biabas with TESDA Pampanga Provincial Director Atty. Eric Ueda and TESDA Specialist Marc Fuerte to conduct a strategic assessment of the facility. The visit focused not only on infrastructure and maintenance but also on evaluating the feasibility and relevance of training programs offered.

Mayor Geld emphasized his commitment to ensuring that all courses provided under the program are high-quality, industry-aligned, and job-relevant, addressing the current demands of the labor market.
A key component of the initiative is job matching, which seeks to connect TESDA graduates with potential employers—particularly within Clark Freeport Zone—to guarantee immediate employment opportunities after training.
“We’re not just providing skills training; we’re establishing a direct pathway to employment,” Mayor Aquino said. “We will ensure that every skill developed leads to a clear and immediate job opportunity in Clark Freeport and beyond.”
