Pampanga State Agricultural University (PSAU) proudly represented the province at the 2025 National Arts and Crafts Fair (NACF) held from October 23–29 at SM Megamall, showcasing Filipino creativity and innovation through its featured product — the Aglibut Sweet Tamarind Juice.
Developed by PSAU, the Aglibut Sweet Tamarind is the first officially registered tamarind variety in the Philippines, symbolizing the university’s commitment to sustainable agriculture, research-driven innovation, and local enterprise development.







PSAU’s delegation included Director for Public Affairs and International Linkages Asst. Prof. Carlo D. De Dios, Head of the External Affairs Unit John Paul S. Viray and Head of the International Student and Staff Mobility Unit Fernan I. Camara.
The event, organized by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), was formally opened by Senator Loren Legarda and DTI Secretary Cristina Roque, alongside Gawad sa Manlilikha ng Bayan (GAMABA) awardees who embody the country’s rich artistic heritage.
Through its participation, PSAU reinforces its role in advancing agricultural innovation and promoting local industries in support of **UN Sustainable Development Goal 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure.
