A printmaking workshopย  led by Jascha Tolentino, was held recently at Bale Gamat Kapampangan Art Gallery.ย ย

The workship was an opportunity for art enthusiasts and beginners to learn and explore the techniques of printmaking, an art form that involves creating images or designs on a surface such as a metal plate, used tetrapack box, X-ray film and then transferring the image onto paper or other materials.

Printmaking is a unique process that allows for multiple reproductions of the same image.

The workshop covered essential concepts such as image creation, plate preparation, inking, and printing.

Participants were introduced to different tools and materials used in printmaking and how to properly use them.

Throughout the workshop, Jascha Tolentino provided personalized feedback and guidance, encouraging participants to experiment with their ideas and techniques.

Watch out for the Printmaking Workshop Series 2 next month.
