The Angeles City Culinarium, the dynamic space which is set to foster the preservation and innovation of Angeles City’s culinary heritage, was officially inaugurated on February 13.
The ribbon cutting rites were led by Department of Tourism Region 3 Director Richard Daenos, Pampanga First District Congressman and Mayorable Carmelo ‘Jon’ B. Lazatin II, Hann Foundation Executive Director Ana Christi Galura and General Manager Ron Golimlim, Kuliat Foundation Inc. President Lincoln M. Baluyut and Vice Mayor Vicky Vega-Cabigting.

KFI President Lincoln Baluyut expressed gratitude to the Hann Foundation Inc. and the Angeles City Government with whom KFI partnered in having created “not just a culinary center, but a dynamic space that fosters the preservation and innovation of our rich food heritage.”
Baluyut said it is worth noting that Museo Ning Angeles served as Angeles’ town hall until 1998, and was repurposed as a museum in 1999, with then Mayor Carmelo “Tarzan” Lazatin at the helm. And now with the next generation Lazatins, Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin and future Mayor Carmelo ‘Jon’ B. Lazatin leading the city, history continues at Museo Ning Angeles, with the birth of our Culinarium.”
HFI Executive Director Ana Christi Galura expressed gratitude and takes privilege in being part of the worthy project where the partners are one with HFI “in elevating the lives and experiences of Angeles City.”

DOT Regional Director said that the opening of the Culinarium “serves as a proud reminder of the Kapampangan heritage. It also offers visitors the chance to not only indulge in the proud Kapampangan cuisine but also to immerse themselves in its rich history.”
The Culinarium offers a deeper understanding of the gastronomic identity of the Angeleños and the Kapampangans.
It serves as a symbol of the rich diversity and flavor that defines Angeles City.
With the Culinarium, the City continues its pursuit of strengthening its global reputation as a culinary destination.
