President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has approved 21 priority measures endorsed by the Legislative-Executive Development Advisory Council (LEDAC) during its third full meeting under the 20th Congress, with the administration targeting their passage before June.

Leading the list of priority proposals is the abolition of the travel tax, a measure aimed at making travel more affordable and accessible for Filipinos. The proposal is expected to reduce travel costs for outbound passengers and support tourism-related economic activity.

Also included among the key priority bills is the Expanded Anti-Online Sexual Abuse or Exploitation of Children and Anti-Child Sexual Abuse or Exploitation Materials Act of 2026, which seeks to strengthen safeguards against online child exploitation and improve enforcement mechanisms.

The LEDAC priority list likewise includes proposed measures addressing fake news and digital disinformation, aimed at promoting responsible information sharing and protecting the public from misleading online content.

Another important measure is the proposal related to the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) elections, which aims to ensure orderly, credible, and transparent electoral processes in the region.

The President also emphasized the importance of structural governance reforms, including the proposed Anti-Political Dynasty Law, CADENA Act, Independent People’s Commission Act, and Party-List System Reform Act, all aimed at strengthening democratic institutions, public accountability, and citizen representation.

Malacañang expressed confidence that once enacted into law, these priority measures will deliver concrete and meaningful benefits to Filipinos, particularly in easing daily financial burdens, strengthening public protection, and promoting honest governance.
