GOV. FERNANDO: MODEL ENTREPRENEURS DRIVING BULACAN’S BUSINESS-FRIENDLY CLIMATE

MALOLOS CITY, BULACAN — Governor Daniel R. Fernando reaffirmed Bulacan’s position as an investment-friendly province, crediting the leadership and innovation of local model entrepreneurs during the 2025 Most Outstanding Bulakenyo Businessmen (MOBB) Awarding Ceremony.

Speaking at the event organized by the Bulacan Chamber of Commerce and Industry in partnership with the provincial government, Gov. Fernando praised Bulacan’s homegrown business leaders for elevating the province’s economic standing and fostering an inclusive business environment.

Since its inception in 1991, the MOBB Awards have celebrated outstanding achievements in entrepreneurship, recognizing Bulakenyo businessmen who exemplify excellence, innovation, and social responsibility.

Among this year’s Most Promising Entrepreneurs were Bauertek Farmaceutical Technologies Corporation and HTP Clothing Corporation.

Bauertek, based in Guiguinto, was cited as a premier manufacturer of food supplements in the country, backed by the Department of Science and Technology. The company was recognized for exceeding industry standards in research and product development.

HTP Clothing Corporation, led by Heidie Ricca Del Rosario, was honored for building a socially responsible fashion brand out of a digital startup. Her company, “Half The Price” (HTP), pioneered online selling before it became a norm. During the pandemic, she raised ₱3 million from customers to produce PPE for frontline workers.

The 2025 Most Outstanding Businessmen award was conferred upon four industry leaders:

  • Francis Bajet, COO of Bajet-Castillo Group of Companies, who helped transform a family-run bakery into a diversified consumer trading enterprise;
  • Narciso Vinta, founder of NBVinta Construction Corporation, which grew from a small supplier to a general construction firm in Plaridel;
  • Toni Paulo Valenton, the force behind Powerfill Group of Companies, which started as a single gasoline station in Malolos and has since expanded nationwide;
  • Ernesto Vergel De Dios, who turned a home baking hobby into the nationally renowned Lemon Square Cupcakebrand under Big E Corporation, now employing over 3,000 workers.

Gov. Fernando highlighted these success stories as proof that with vision and commitment, local entrepreneurs can uplift communities and fuel economic growth across Bulacan.
