Angeles City Police launches Community Assistance, Safety, and Support Network

The Angeles City Police Office (ACPO) officially launched the Community Assistance, Safety, and Support Network (CASSN) on June 19, 2025, at 8:00 AM at Police Station 4 in Angeles City, as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance public safety and strengthen community relations.

The event was highlighted by the presence of PBGEN Jonas T. Amparo, Executive Officer of the Directorate for Police Community Relations (TDPCR), who served as Guest of Honor. He was welcomed by PLTCOL Chito Macaspac, Officer-in-Charge of ACPO.

In his keynote address, PBGEN Amparo underscored the importance of collaborative partnerships in building safer and more resilient communities. He commended the CASSN initiative as an example of proactive and community-centered policing, anchored in cooperation, mutual respect, and cultural understanding.

The launch was attended by representatives from various sectors, including members of the Korean, American, and Filipino-Chinese communities, who expressed support for the initiative. Their participation highlighted the commitment to promoting inclusivity and neighborhood safety in the city’s multicultural setting.

Personnel from ACPO also joined the ceremony, reflecting the unit’s continuous dedication to community engagement and innovation in public service.

The Community Assistance, Safety, and Support Network aims to serve as a platform for closer coordination between the police and the communities they serve, enabling real-time assistance, open communication, and joint efforts in maintaining peace and order.

Through programs like CASSN, the Angeles City Police Office reinforces its mission to foster trust, peace, and security across diverse communities.
